All, the Hampshire Cross Country League starts with the first race on Saturday 11 October, at Farley Mount. Several of the fixtures are further away, but we can normally get organised with lift sharing, so it would be good to get as many out to these as possible.
The full fixture list is as follows:
Saturday 11 October 2014 - Farley Mount, Winchester
Saturday 8 November 2014 - Goodwood, Chichester
Saturday 6 December 2014 - Popham Airfield, Basingstoke
Saturday 10 January 2015 - Prospect Park, Reading
Saturday 7 February 2015 - King's Park, Bournemouth
In general, the women’s race is 6km long, and starts at 13:35. The men’s race is 10km long and starts at 14:30.
This year, we have been asked to supply names of those runners wishing to take part, to help with processing results, so please let me or Virginia know if you think you might want to run one of these. The organisers would prefer to have names of runners who decide in the end not to take part rather than have runners turn up when their details have not been supplied in advance. However, if you change your mind and want to run although you didn’t notify us in advance, don’t be put off, as you still can.
